This blog exists only as an archive. It is a journal that serves as a window into my life as a Marine combat veteran serving in Iraq and Afghanistan; it was written with no filter, no politics and no agenda. Please feel free to follow my journey from beginning to end. Welcome to my life.

Friday Mass

Father Andre Charbonneau, SJ, says Mass on Friday morning at the novitiate house.
"The role of faith then is the role of action, and nothing is needed now more than action."
-- Brother Jim Boynton, SJ

  1. Beautiful. At Mass on a Friday; they know what is important. God bless you and all you are doing!

  2. I had passed your blog on to my family and friends in the states last week. My mother works with those in JRS and told her contacts about what you are doing. Just passing along that this Sunday Xavier's (in Cincinnati) Bellarmine chapel will be keeping you and your mission in Haiti in their prayers.

  3. All of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School studnets, staff, family and friends are praying for you and Team Rubicon. We are awed and humbled by the work that you all are doing.
