This blog exists only as an archive. It is a journal that serves as a window into my life as a Marine combat veteran serving in Iraq and Afghanistan; it was written with no filter, no politics and no agenda. Please feel free to follow my journey from beginning to end. Welcome to my life.

End of day 5

Team Rubicon winds down
Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

  1. See those rounds there? I'm buying the first round back here for you guys. You'll have to get to Madison... HUGE specialty brew town. At least 10 local brewers. We'll pub crawl, Rubicon style, Tap Taps and all.

  2. Great work guys! What amazing, generous souls you are. These folks and their communities are in bad shape and you guys are real hardcore help.

I know I'm humbled by the real life story being told here. I was going to go see Avatar this weekend... but forget it. I tacked the ticket price on to a Ben Franklin and sent it off to Team Rubicon.

I'd rather pay witness to real life ex-military heroes than waste my time with some fictional nonsense.
